Well Informed Citizens have released their Swindlers and Thieves EP April 19, 2014. In contrast to their last long-player, Leaders of the Revolution, featuring contributions from over 15 different players, the new record explores the challenges of writing, recording, and performing as a trio. Influences of Dire Straits, Gary Clark Jr., Anders Osborne, and Grant Green can be heard. The album is released on Jack LeTourneau and Daniel Nathan's Citizen Recordings label, and was nominated for "Best Independent Release" in the 2014 88.9 Radio Milwaukee Music Awards.
